December's Adventure

The title says it all.
Gonna be sharing how I spent my december holidays cause a break comes by like a blessing for us design students.

1. Indulging in the Christmas spirit in town.

The boyfee recently bought a new digital camera (Sony RX100) and I was the test subject obviously. It's a pretty decent camera for a digital camera, quite a worthy investment! Makes me wanna sell my old digital camera to get this one too but mine's so old (I doubt anyone wants to buy it). Meh.

2. Wrapped up freelance work.

Finally done with the freelance work I've been busy with for months. Glad that it all turn out well :)
Thai Express for one of the nights after going down to the shop.
Curry my fav <3

3. Meet ups!

You know you're freaking busy when you only get to see your friends after the semester is over!
Met up with Lansin for impromptu shopping and I was overwhelmed when the barista at Starbucks gave me a Starbucks card. It felt like I was given a christmas gift lol. Simple pleasures in life!
Shokudo for dinner with the company of the boyfriend as well.
Carbonara freak out here.

4. More meet ups!

Funny how we're in the same school but we only meet during the holidays.
Here's my shadow and I spoiling ourselves with more shopping and awesomeballz sashimi and shiokkkkk maki.

5. Find excuses to gain weight

9th monthsary with the loverboy and his favourite food on Earth. Maybe we were born in the wrong country. I suspect he's half Japanese.

6. Party hard

Last minute party plans with the pvs family and Lansin. Too wise of me to go and experience the special night. Don't know why Zouk was so crowded that day, but the night was young and fun. Itacho  for dinner before dancing the calories away and mac breakfast to satisfy our tired souls by the morning.
Met my shadow by coincidence and saw many familiar faces that night.
A night to remember.

7. Time to get fat

Studying isn't complete without stress. Stress makes us lose our appetite. But the holidays give us reasons to get fat. Boyfriend brought me to Geylang 126 for late dinner. Virgin experience eating frog meat (nooooooo, once is enough). Surprisingly my shadow was loitering in that area later that night.

8. Holidays means trips to the airport

Sent my family off to China for their holiday together with the fav boy.
Wanted to catch the sunrise since they were taking the morning flight but we were both too tired thus sleep was what we wanted to catch instead.

9. Moreeeeee meetups

Impromptu meet ups with the sister and my shadow for Pizza Hut and Sun with Moon hehe.
Wherever my shadow appears, Ad will appear without fail too. Such a pair of loggerheads lol.

Oh and also random kbbq dinner with some of the pvs friends and Lansin.
Sinful but yum yum in the tum tum!

10. Room revamp

I once read from Thought Catalog that one of the things a person should do when he/she is alone at home is to pack his/her room.
Well, that advice was indeed apt to keep me busy and not bored now that I've got the whole house to myself. Decided to take out all my polaroids and stick them on my year one work. It's time to get rid of that useless mirror that only catches dust.

11. Sharing the joy of bliss

My aunt (from my dad's side) wedded last friday. Attended her wedding dinner back in Malaysia and finally met my cousins whom I meet only twice a year lol. And damn the trip back to Sg really made me wish I didn't step out of my house in the first place. It freaking jammed for 2 hours for god knows what reason. Wore one of the dresses that the sweetheart bought for me just the day before :)

With the cuzzie I'm closest with among all. Love her bubbly and cheerful personality.
She even dedicated and sang a song for the newlyweds, such a talented cousin!

12. Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all my readers out there! Thank you for bothering to read my uninteresting blog, I rant and rant most of the times hahaha. Christmas Eve was spent at boyf's place with his extended family for their usual Christmas gathering. Had buffet, sang Christmas songs together and then exchanged Christmas prezzies. Heartwarming night but Santa decided to give me my present too… Felt my cramps acting up later that night and bull's eye, what a red Christmas!

Spent Christmas with my babes, for a short meet up before I fly off next tuesday. It was just the three of us initially, and while waiting for Niki to come (super late for 2 hours…), Lansin and I did our nails at FEP! My first ever manicure and I can say I love it. Totally can understand why Niki is so addicted to it now that I've had the experience myself. Couldn't resist the temptation of doing gelish nails oh god.

There were a few last minute changes to the original plan, Lansin stayed for dinner, the boy came to join us too with his friend Calvin who came back from Sydney just for Christmas. Walked along Orchard Road and admired the Christmas lightings till we were all sweaty and settled for Starbucks at 313. Ad's family happened to be there as well so our group grew haha.

Seems like a fruitful December after all, time to jot down some new year resolutions!
Almost a week to Taiwan, I need to pack my luggage soon.
Eggcited much *screams and jumps around*

Merry Christmas once again my angels, see you guys next year!
