W Hotel | Sentosa

Spent my Monday with the little cutie and her family at Sentosa. It was very kind of her parents to ask us along to try out ifly and we even had the privilege to take a dip in the pool at W Hotel.
It was like a mini getaway for me though I wasn't the one having the staycation.
The great weather plus a perfect view, what more can one ask for for a short break away from all the troubles?
Check out the visuals from that day!

Began the day by breaking our fast at Macdonalds. We were on the topic of kids owning phones nowadays and my dear girl was hoping to own a phone soon so I pranked her by telling her the christmas gift I got for her was a phone hehe.

The first thing we did after reaching the hotel was to rush for a dip in the pool. The sun was perfect, the sky was clear and blue, it was totally the ideal weather for a swim. Thank god it didn't rain that day!
Lynn's parents brought their underwater camera which I got to try it out! First experience with an underwater camera, it was so much fun! Totally tempted to get one myself.

There's this water bar at a corner of the pool whereby people can chill and drink, super cool! Imagine taking a dip at night and you can rest and drink with your friends! So convenient!
Second stop was Siloso beach for lunch and then ifly.
I didn't note down the name of the restaurant but the food there was yumz. My carbonara pasta was filling and delish with my fav mushrooms. A little pricey but the taste made up for it!
Scaredy-cat me didn't dare to try ifly. I'm not afraid of heights per say actually, but I can't deal with thrilling stuff, like roller coaster rides y'know. So in the end my mom and bro went on for their virgin flying experience while I did what I do best - taking photos.

Afterwards, we retreated back to the hotel again since it was already near evening and went for another swim. Mother nature then treated us with a beautiful sunset, something unseen these few days considering that it is now the monsoon season already. A short stroll along the bay where all the yachts were parked and some touristy photos before we headed back home!

W Hotel is really a nice place to indulge in and be separated from large crowds. A quieter environment as compared to more popular hotels in Sentosa like Festive or Hard Rock Hotel near the casino. Would love to book a room for a staycation sometime in the future :)

Speaking of staycation, I can't wait for 2014 to arrive cause I'll be flying off then for my vacation!
Excitement excitement and excitement!
Enjoy your holidays angels
